Mangistau residents from socially vulnerable groups will be given 252 grants to open a business
Grants are provided to socially vulnerable groups of the population in order to support their entrepreneurial initiatives. This was announced at a briefing at the Center for Public Communications by the head of the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs of the Mangystau region Asset Shopanov.
He recalled that in 2022, 1.2 billion tenge was allocated from the budget for grants for the implementation of new business ideas. Their owners then became 990 people. These grants allowed people to get jobs.
For example, six people are employed in the sewing workshop "Nesibeli perishtem", which was opened by a young entrepreneur Akmonshak Oraz. She presented a business plan for sewing production and received a grant in the amount of 400 MCI (1,225,200 tenge). With this money, an individual entrepreneur ordered the necessary equipment for a sewing workshop and things went well.
In 2023, citizens from socially vulnerable segments of the population can also use the start-up capital, the purpose of which is to launch and develop a new business.
The grant amount is 400 MCI (1,380,000 tenge).
Grants are provided for the intended purpose for the purchase of necessary labor tools, technological equipment, livestock, birds, seedlings, shrubs, seeds and for the rental of retail facilities.
Asset Shopanov noted that in order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to have a certificate of completion of training in the basics of entrepreneurship under the Bastau Business project.
