WHO CAN GET FREE LEGAL ADVICE?
In connection with the problem:
- Individuals on issues of alimony recovery (can get advice from both men and spouses)
- Individuals on the appointment of pensions and benefits
- Individuals on rehabilitation issues
- Individuals on issues of obtaining refugee or relative status
- Individuals on issues of minors left without parental care
- Individuals on issues of compensation for damage caused by the death of the breadwinner
- Individuals on issues of compensation for damage caused by work-related health damage or caused by a criminal offense
Depending on the status or position:

WHAT DOCUMENT MUST BE PROVIDED TO RECEIVE FREE LEGAL ADVICE?
The list of documents for legal advice was approved by Order No. 114 of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 25, 2015.The list of documents is as follows:
- recovery of alimony-a birth certificate of a child (children), a marriage certificate or a marriage (matrimony), and in the case of the birth of a child (out of wedlock) -a certificate of paternity;
- assignment of pensions and benefits -a document certifying the identity of a citizen, a pensioner's certificate, a document that is the basis for receiving the corresponding benefit;
- Aktau-a copy of the procedural act on the cancellation or amendment of other illegal decisions in a criminal or administrative case, confirming the fact of justification or termination of the pre-trial investigation or termination of the case of an administrative offense;
- obtaining refugee status is a national (civil) passport and (or) identity documents of a citizen recognized as a refugee.
- obtaining the status of a candace-documents certifying the identity of the applicant and his family members (if any) with a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian (birth certificate, passport, certificate of a stateless person or other official documents of special authorities of the country of origin of ethnic Kazakhs and other documents confirming the nationality of applicants);
- minors left without parental care -copies of documents, a death certificate, a court decision on the deprivation of custody of a single parent or both in connection with the restriction or deprivation of parental rights, recognition as missing, recognition as incapacitated or with limited legal capacity – serving a sentence in places of deprivation of liberty, a document confirming evasion from raising a child or protecting his rights and interests, including the refusal to raise a child or receive from a medical organization.
- A copy of the procedural act confirming the fact of causing property or moral harm to victims of sexual violence, human trafficking, an act of terrorism or victims who have been subjected to torture, on issues of ensuring and protecting rights and legitimate interests related to status or position.
- To individuals on issues of compensation for damage caused by the death of the breadwinner – a death certificate.
- To individuals on issues of compensation for damage caused by a work-related health injury or caused by a criminal offense - an act on an industrial accident, a resolution of the bodies conducting criminal proceedings.
- Participants of the Great Patriotic War - the certificate of the veteran of the Great Patriotic War issued by the bodies of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Persons equated to participants of the Great Patriotic War, as well as veterans of military operations on the territory of other states-a military ID card, a certificate confirming their presence in the active army;
- conscripts -military ID or certificate issued by the authorized body;
- persons with disabilities of the first and second groups - certificate of disability;
- individuals who are pensioners by age -pensioner's certificate;
- For large families - a birth certificate of children on issues not related to entrepreneurial activity;
- Persons (families) with low-income incomes below the poverty line established in regions, cities of republican significance, the capital, average monthly income on issues not related to entrepreneurial activity - an identity document of the applicant, a document confirming the income of a low-income family, a certificate of pension contributions (except for information obtained from the relevant state information systems), a certificate from the place or a certificate of registration as an unemployed person, information about alimony for children and other dependents.
