For the purpose of the information and explanatory work across the population, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund is going to hold an Open Doors Day in an online format on June 28. Any persons wishing to join through connecting to the online platform can attend this event without leaving home.
The theme of the event is "Pension Asset Management: How and where pension assets are invested?"
The main purpose of the virtual meeting will be to increase the financial and legal literacy of the population. The guests of the event will know the structure of the pension system of our country, get acquainted with the structure of the investment portfolio and financial instruments that ensure the profitability of pension assets.
It should be recalled that pension contributions received to individual pension saving accounts (IPSA), which are accounted by the UAPF, are invested by the trust managers of pension assets – the National Bank of Kazakhstan and investment portfolio managers (IPM) in various financial instruments. At the moment, the UAPF has concluded an agreement on the trust management of pension assets with four IPMs ("Jusan Invest" JSC; "Halyk Global Markets" JSC; "BCC Invest" JSC and "Centras Securities" JSC).
The amount of pension savings of contributors is recalculated and re-evaluated on a weekly basis in accordance with the results of pension assets investments. The composition of investment income includes income in the form of interest on securities (deposits and other operations), income in the form of market revaluation of financial instruments, income in the form of currency revaluation, income on assets under external management, etc.
In addition, the purpose of this event is to provide with comprehensive information on other issues related to the work of the defined contribution pension system.
