The Unified Accumulative Pension Fund continues to summarize the results of 2019.
In the past year, the accumulative pension system of Kazakhstan turned 21 years old. And it is already possible to sum up interim results. Thus, the average amount of pension savings of depositors who have made regular contributions to the fund since 1998, as of January 1, 2020, amounted to 5.8 million tenge for men and 4.4 million tenge for women. This figure is derived from the accounts of all depositors.
At the same time, according to the results of 2019, the average amount of pension savings on depositors' accounts due to mandatory pension contributions, regardless of the number of years of participation in the accumulative pension system, is 1.1 million tenge (an increase of 11% compared to 2018), for mandatory professional pension contributions – 500.2 thousand tenge (an increase of 17%) and 48.6 thousand tenge for voluntary pension contributions. If we consider the average savings of citizens due to OPV by gender, it looks like this: men – 1.2 million tenge (an increase from the beginning of the year by 10%) and women - 942.2 thousand tenge (an increase from the beginning of the year by 12%). However, these are average figures derived from the accounts of all depositors – those who have just started working and started transferring contributions to the UAPF, and those who have been making contributions for twenty years.
The number of active depositors in 2019 in the UAPF amounted to about 6.6 million. It should be noted that the average frequency of contributions in 2019 to the UAPF is 8.13 times.
