Almost 400 thousand accounts were opened in the UAPF in automatic mode
Throughout the year, the procedure for opening a pension account in the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund has been simplified. Since January 8, 2019, in accordance with the amendments to the Law on Pension Provision of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an individual does not need to contact the service offices of the UAPF to open an individual pension account (IPS) for accounting for mandatory pension contributions (OPV). The account is opened automatically when the first payment is received. At the same time, the identification of an individual is carried out using personal data (full name, IIN, date of birth) specified in the electronic format of the payment order when transferring the OPV, and all the necessary information about the details of a valid identity document of an individual, about the place of permanent residence of the UAPF receives from the information systems of state bodies. As a result, 398,376 OPV accounts were opened using an automated process in 2019.
We remind you that when the IPS is automatically opened, the depositor is informed about the state of pension savings exclusively by personal contact with the UAPF service offices. However, you can choose a more convenient way by registering on the fund's website and monitoring your savings in your personal account on the UAPF website or in the mobile application. Also, in your personal account, in just a couple of clicks, you can get an extract from the IPS, see current indicators for pension assets, details of contracts and much more.
To get access to the personal account, you need to contact one of the UAPF service offices or through a transfer agent to the branch of Kazpost JSC (the list of settlements with branch addresses is indicated on the UAPF website) and apply for a change in the method of informing. By choosing an electronic format of information, the Fund's staff will help you register in your personal account on the enpf website.kz and in the UAPF mobile application. If you have an electronic digital signature (EDS), you can change the way of informing on the enpf website.kz in your personal account independently.
