"Business Roadmap 2020"

The Business Roadmap 2020 program was developed to implement the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan "A new Decade – A new economic recovery – New opportunities for Kazakhstan" and the Strategic Development Plan of Kazakhstan until 2020. The program is one of the mechanisms for the implementation of the State Program for Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014.

The purpose of the program is to preserve existing and create new permanent jobs, as well as to ensure sustainable and balanced growth of regional entrepreneurship in non-resource sectors of the economy.

The program provides three main directions:

Support of new business initiatives, i.e. assistance will be provided to the creation of new modern production facilities. As part of this direction, the mechanisms of subsidizing the interest rate and guaranteeing loans for the implementation of new projects, service support for doing business and the construction of production (industrial) infrastructure will be used.
Rehabilitation of the business sector, i.e. support for existing businesses that have faced financial difficulties in times of crisis.
Support for export-oriented industries, it will consist in subsidizing existing loans of exporting enterprises.

The main instruments of state support within the framework of the Business Roadmap 2020 program are:

subsidizing the interest rate;
partial loan guarantee;
providing grants for aspiring entrepreneurs, distinguished by originality and novelty;
development of production infrastructure;
subsidizing foreign exchange risks of enterprises;
service support for doing business.

Every entrepreneur who implements a project in priority sectors of the economy can take part in the program.
