Egmont Committee Intersessional Meeting took place in Manama (Kingdom of Bahrain) on May 3 and 4.

During the meetings a complex package of documents on Egmont Group (EG) IT renewal and launch of the new Egmont Security Web was discussed for further approval by the Heads of FIUs.

Committee members approved the draft program for the 29th EG Plenary Meeting in July 2023. The Eurasia Regional Representative presented the Regional Plan for 2023-2024 with further approval by the EC.

The First Deputy Chairman of FMA of Kazakhstan – Mr. Gabit Sadyrbekov was elected as the Regional Representative of Eurasia Group in March this year.

The Egmont Committee (EC) was established in 2002 as a consultation and coordination mechanism of the Egmont Group with a number of decision-making powers delegated by the Heads of FIU.
