Regional Representative of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Central Asia, Ms. Ashita Mittal visited the Financial Monitoring Agency of Kazakhstan on April 11, 2023

During the visit, Ms. Mittal presented her points on current interaction, report on the results for 2022, as well as the prospects for strengthening further cooperation between Kazakhstan and UNODC in the field of AML/CFT.

On behalf of the Agency, the First Deputy Chairman, Mr. Sadyrbekov expressed his gratitude to the representatives and international experts of UNODC for many years of joint work and coordination of activities carried out within the framework of AML/CFT, including cooperation in preparation for the Mutual Evaluation.

Representatives of two parties reaffirmed their intention to continue the ongoing work and to promote sustainable dialogue between the UNODC and government agencies of Kazakhstan.
