Vice-Minister Botagoz Zhaxselekova met with the Chairman of the Fund under the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Azita Berar Awad

On November 16, 2023, a meeting took place between Vice Minister of Justice Botagoz Zhakselekova and the Board of Trustees of the Voluntary Technical Cooperation Fund and the Targeted Fund for the Universal Periodic Review Implementation and Technical Assistance of the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, headed by Mrs. Azita Berar Awad.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the ongoing efforts in the field of rule of law and issues of cooperation within the framework of joint projects with UN Offices in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The parties emphasized the importance of the measures taken to ensure human rights and the effectiveness of the ongoing joint efforts.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed hope for further fruitful work.
