Deputy Minister of Justice was awarded by the International Award

The annual ceremony of awarding the International Human Rights Awards took place on 10 December 2018, where awards are given to outstanding civil society organizations, human rights defenders, government representatives and media for significant contributions to protecting and promoting for human rights in Kazakhstan.

The event was organized by the European Union Delegation to Kazakhstan jointly with the Еmbassies of Canada, Switzerland, the United States and United Nations agencies.

As part of the event, the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elvira Abilkhasimovna Azimova, was awarded by the International Award in the nomination «Development of Justice for All».

The event was attended by about 100 representatives of government agencies, diplomatic corps, international and non-governmental organizations.
