The cooperation in the legal sphere between the two countries was discussed by the Ministers of Justice of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates

Minister of Justice Azamat Yeskarayev and Prosecutor General Berik Asylov met with Minister of Justice of the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi.

Azamat Yeskaraev noted that the cooperation between the two countries is in consistent development, including the cooperation in the Agreement on Legal Assistance in Civil and Commercial Matters.

"Our new vector of development is based on the extensive digitization of the economy and public services. In this regard, the Ministry of Justice is implementing the «Digital Justice» program, which includes the implementation of 12 projects in the field of rulemaking, notariat, civil registration and more. All government services of the Ministry of Justice have been transferred to electronic format. Measures are being taken to ensure their accessibility through mobile applications" informed the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation in the legal sphere.
