Ministry of Justice accredited collective property rights management organizations

On November 24, 2022, was held a meeting of the Commission on accreditation of organisations, managing property rights on a collective basis

The Commission consists of representatives of the Ministry of Justice and public organizations.

8 organizations applied for accreditation.

In accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 980 dated November 30, 2022, the RPA «Copyright Society «Abyroy» and the NGO «Eurasian Union of Copyright Holders» were accredited.

The Ministry of Justice, in accordance with paragraph 7 of article 46-2 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On copyright and related rights», article 9 of the Rules of rendering of the state service «Accreditation of the organizations managing property rights on a collective basis», approved by the Order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 19, 2020 No. 105, taking into account the non-fulfillment of obligations by organizations managing property rights on a collective basis, refused accreditation to the RPA «Union of Songwriters», RPA «Performers of Kazakh Songs», RPA «Kazakhstan Author’s Society», NGO «Collective Management of copyright and Related Rights «ADAL», RPA «SHAPAGAT», ALE «Kazakhstan Intellectual Property Agency» .
