Vice-Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Akhmatova met with the Secretary General of the International Energy Charter

On October 13, 2022, under the chairmanship of Vice Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Akhmеtova, a meeting was held with the Secretary General of the International Energy Charter, Mr. Guy Lentz.

During the meeting, Mr. Guy Lentz informed about the upcoming adoption of the text of the modernized Energy Charter Treaty at the upcoming Energy Charter Conference on November 22, 2022 in Ulaanbaatar, and also noted the special role of Kazakhstan's participation in the Energy Charter negotiation process.

The main attention was paid to the discussion of the challenges faced by Kazakhstan in arbitration disputes with unscrupulous investors.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
