Together with civil society, the draft Interim information on the UPR was discussed

On June 13, 2022, under the chairmanship of Vice-minister of Justice A. Akhmetova, a meeting was held to discuss the draft Interim information of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the implementation of the recommendations of the UN member States on the results of the third review within the framework of the Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights.

The meeting was attended by more than 50 representatives of government agencies and non-governmental organizations.

During the meeting, comments and suggestions from the civil sector on some recommendations were received.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to continue work on the preparation of Interim Information.
