On the 20th of May this year a meeting was held within the framework of President K.K. Tokayev’s order

On the 20^th of May this year a meeting was held within the framework of President K.K. Tokayev’s order, which was issued on 25^th of February 2021 in a fifth session of a National Council of Public Trust, on a gradual implementation of national indicators of human rights, which was developed by the Office of UN High Commissioner.

Together with the Agency of strategic planning and reforms and the facilitation of the regional branch of the Office of the UN High Commissioner, the Ministry of Justice organized the meeting.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the central government bodies, regional executive bodies, and the Economic Research Institute.

The participants of the meeting discussed the project of the Plan of implementation activities of the indicators of the rights of not being a subject to torture and other cruel and degrading treatment and punishment, as well as the issue of assault towards women.

Another meeting is planned on June of this year on other indicators.
