On March 28, 2022, Vice Minister of Justice Ms. Akerke Akhmetova met with UN Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan Ms. Michaela Friberg-Storey.

During the meeting, Vice Minister of Justice Ms. Akerke Akhmetova informed the diplomatic representatives about the work carried out by the Republic of Kazakhstan to protect human rights, and about the interaction of the Ministry of Justice with NGOs within the framework of the Universal Periodic Review and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

The participants discussed further measures of cooperation on human rights issues, and also wished each other fruitful work.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
