Meeting of the Commission on Enhanced Strategic Partnership Dialogue between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the USA

On December 15, 2021, a review meeting of the Committee "Humanitarian Dimension" of the Commission on Enhanced Strategic Partnership Dialogue between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United States of America was held under the chairmanship of Vice-Minister of Justice Akhmetova A.E..

From the U.S. side, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labour Kara McDonald co-chaired.

The parties discussed ongoing legal reforms on human rights issues, including the fight against human trafficking and amendments concerning religious issues.

The meeting was held in a constructive and business climate.
