On the beginning of work on the adjustment personal data, records registered before 2008 year

Within the framework of the Presidential Decree «On the formation «e-government» and integration of government information systems The Ministry of Justice was instructed to speed up the introduction of information on civil registration.

Digitization of archive records was conducted from 2013 to 2017, For 5 years, archives of 16 regions were completely scanned from 1937 to 2008.

Currently, on the central server E-archive of the registry office is more than 50 million scanned and attributed records.

Since June 2018, it is planned to open access to archive records,registered before 2008 for adjustments,in this connection, it is possible that incorrect information will be displayed in the personal information of citizens.

In this connection, the Ministry of Justice jointly with the Ministry of Information and Communications,State Corporation «Government for citizens»,private notaries, registration authorities (civil registration) and other interested state organizations will carry out work on the correction of irrelevant initial information in the records,since during the scan citizens made changes,corrections (for example, the marriage was canceled, the name, adoption, paternity was changed, etc.), and also elimination of mistakes made at attribution.

We have three ways to verify your personal data:

  1. through the portal of "e-government" citizens can in the "private office" check both their personal data and their children;

  2. when applying to the State Corporation for the receipt of any services  and detection of discrepancies;

  3. when applying to state organizations,to private notaries,information systems of which are integrated with the "Civil Registration" information system.

If there are discrepancies for citizens, there are also three options for applying for adjustments:

  1. independently apply through the portal «e-government» in «personal account» (will provide the appropriate service),

  2. through the employees of the State Corporation,who also have the opportunity to submit an appropriate application through the information system "CHS";when applying to state organizations,to private notaries,information systems of which are integrated with the "Civil Registration" information system for receiving any services.

When applying to state bodies or private notaries, applicants will be given recommendations to apply to the registration authority (Civil Registration departments),or departments of justice for appropriate corrections.

This work will be carried out on an ongoing basis.
