Trainees and assistants explained the norms of the Draft Law "On Advocacy and Legal Aid"
On June 11, the Department of Justice of the South Kazakhstan region held a meeting with trainees and assistants to lawyers, notaries, private bailiffs, as well as journalists of local TV channels.
The event was attended by the chairman of the Presidium of the Bar Association Baymuratov Serik and the head of the chamber of legal advisers of the South Kazakhstan region Kudaibergen Oralbai.
At the meeting Deputy Head of the Department of Justice Isabek Meirzhan explained the main novels of the Laws «On advocacy and legal assistance», «On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on matters of advocacy and legal assistance»,the possibility of joining the Bar without paying an entrance fee, voiced the rights and duties of legal consultants, requirements for joining the chamber of legal advisers.
At the end of the meeting, an interview was given to representatives of the media about the goals and benefits of adopting the Draft Laws.
