June 15 this year. at 10.00 o'clock, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the State Institution "The Institute of Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan", with the support of the Office of the OSCE programs, conducts the V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ensuring the Rule of Law: New Opportunities in the Light of Global Changes" dedicated to the memory of an outstanding legal scholar, reformer and ex-Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan N.A. Shaykenov, and also timed to the 25th anniversary of the Institute of Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.The work of the conference will be attended by deputies of the Parliament, representatives of the Constitutional Council, the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General's Office, state authorities,international and national non-governmental organizations,the scientific community of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, as well as relatives and friends of N.A. Shaykenov.

 The purpose of this conference is to fully discuss topical issues of improving national legislation and law-making process in Kazakhstan,exchange of scientific results and international experience.
