The Department of Justice of Astana city explained the main provisions of the draft law "On advocacy and legal assistance" to trainees and lawyers assistants

On June 15, 2018, the Department of Justice of the City of Astana held a meeting with trainees and lawyers to explain the main provisions of the draft law «On advocacy and legal assistance».

During the meeting, the main provisions of the draft laws were explained «On advocacy and legal assistance»,«On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on matters of advocacy and legal assistance»,explained the Rules for passing attestation for the right to engage in advocacy.In addition, the trainees and legal assistants were given the opportunity,stipulated by the draft law of joining the bar without payment of the entrance fee and the requirement for entry into the chamber of legal advisers.

It should be noted that trainees and assistant attorneys of Astana took an active part in the discussion of draft laws.

As a result of the event, answers were also given to other interesting questions on advocacy.
