On April 1, 2021, Minister of Justice M. B. Beketayev had an online meeting with Hans Friedrich Schodder the Regional Representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Central Asia.

On April 1, 2021, Minister of Justice M. B. Beketayev had an online meeting with Hans Friedrich Schodder the Regional Representative of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Central Asia.

Within the framework of the meeting, were discussed the activities of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the registration of refugee children. In turn, Mr. Schodder noted the achievements of Kazakhstan in the sphere of refugee protection, including the implementation of international obligations under the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees and its 1967 Protocol.

The participants of the meeting exchanged opinions and experience in the sphere of regulation of migration processes, and also wished each other fruitful work.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
