A seminar was held on issues of ensuring public procurement of software from rightholders.

On June 27,2018,the Ministry of Justice conducted a seminar on ensuring public procurement of software from rightholders with the paricipation of representatives of central government agencies,representatives of central government agencies,representatives of MIcrosoft and 1c rights holders.(InfoSoftPromLLP) 

The seminar was attended by representatives of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan,Comittee of National Security,National Bank,Accounts Comittee for Control over Execution of the Republican Budget,ministry of internal affairs,national economic,defence and aerospace industries,education and science, energetics,agriculture,foreign affairs,investment and development,religious affairs and sivil society.

Representatives of Microsoft company-Dmitry Beresnev Darkhan Kashkinbaev and also representative of 1c company(InfoSoftPromLLP) - Salia Abdiyeva spoke at the seminar as speakers.During the seminar,issues of cybercrime were discussed,information security,minimizing the risks of distributing counterfeit software through government procurement and protection of copyright for software products,in state organizations and enterprises.

As a result of the seminar,the participants decided further work on interaction to conduct  and the improvement of public procurement standards directly with the participation of ministries of finance,information and communication,and also the continuation of the discussion of the issues under consideration in September of this year.
