A meeting was held to explain the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Improving Legislation in the Sphere of Intellectual Property"

The main purpose of the law –This is the improvement of legislation in the field of intellectual property,simplification of the procedure for registration of intellectual property objects,elimination of legal gaps,as well as the exclusion of norms, creating administrative barriers in the field of intellectual property protection.

The meeting was videoconferenced by the staff of the Department of Intellectual Property Rights (next – DIP), Republican State Enterprise «National Institute of Intellectual Property» (further - RSE«NIIP»), territorial authorities of justice.

During the meeting, reports were heard on clarifying the norms of the law of the heads of the management of industrial property DIP Abenov А.B and copyright and related rights DIP Аkhmetbekov А.К.,Head of the Department of Trademarks, appellations of origin of industrial design goods RSE «NIIP» Kazieva А.А.,and also discussed the issues of improving the quality of law-explaining work.
