Minister of Justice M. Beketayev took part in the Sixth Meeting of the Ministers of Justice of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states

August 24, 2018 in the city of Cholpon-Ata of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Sixth Meeting of the Ministers of Justice of the ShCO member states (hereinafter - the Meeting) was held. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Law and Justice of the Republic of India Suresh Chandra, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.B Beketayev, Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Justice of the People's Republic of China Yuan Shuhong, acting.Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic M.K.Esenaliev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi, Minister of Justice of the Russian Federation A.V. Konovalov, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan R.Shokhmurod, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan R.K. Davletov.

The meeting was chaired by the Acting President. Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic M.K.Esenalieva.

The meeting was attended by: Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdul Basir Anwar, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Belarus OL Slizhevsky, Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Alireza Avaii, Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs of Mongolia Nyamdorzh Tsend.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the ShCO, N.S. Akkoshkarov.

In a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the ministers discussed the provision of legal services to individuals and legal entities, as well as the role of justice ministries in countering the spread of threats to international security.

Following the meeting, the ministers signed a Joint Statement, approved the Action Plans of the Working Group of Experts on Forensic Expert Activities and the Working Group of Experts on Legal Services of the Meeting of the Ministers of Justice of the ShCO Member States for 2018-2020.
