Kazakh Vice Minister of Justice Botagoz Zhakselekova meets with UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Development Surya Deva

During the meeting, the Vice Minister familiarized with the ongoing reforms in the country, and also presented plans for the implementation of the recommendations received from the submission of national reports under the Universal Periodic Review and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, held at the UN site the previous year.

The parties agreed to carry out a number of measures aimed at improving the human rights situation.

Following the meeting, the parties emphasized the productive nature of the dialogue and expressed their readiness to further strengthen constructive cooperation and partnership.
