On October 29-30, 2020, an online webinar on «Issues in the field of commercialization and intellectual property royalties», was held by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme.

On October 29-30, 2020, an online webinar on «Issues in the field of commercialization and intellectual property royalties», was held by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme.

The main target audience of the webinar was representatives of the United Nations Development Programme, state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as international experts in the field of commercialization.

During the online webinar, international experts presented materials on the following topics: commercialization of intellectual property in the public sector, negotiation and management of intellectual property in commercial transactions, state financing of intellectual property, and others.

International experts and participants of the seminar took an active part in the discussion of the above issues and shared their experience on the commercialization of intellectual property.

Participants of the webinar also discussed current issues and future prospects for the development of this area.
