In accordance with the List of objects of state audit of the Internal Audit Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022, approved by the Order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 28, 2021 № 1120, in the first half of 2022, 2 audit activities were conducted in the Department of Justice of the Akmola region and the Branch of the RSE «Center for Forensic Examinations of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan» Institute of Forensic Examinations in Akmola area.
The amount of funds covered by the internal state audit in the first half of 2022 amounted to 2,320,405.5 thousand tenge.
The audit revealed violations totaling 89,771,9 thousand tenge, including procedural violations in the amount of 89,510,4 thousand tenge and the amount subject to reimbursement of 50,5 thousand tenge and restoration of 211,0 thousand tenge. Financial violations in the Department of Justice of the Akmola region were revealed in the amount of 137,9 thousand tenge, to the Institute of Forensic Examinations in the Akmola region – 123,6 thousand tenge, which were reimbursed and restored in full.
Upon completion of the audit activities, the managers of the internal audit facilities were sent solutions to eliminate the identified violations with recommendations for their elimination and prevention in the future, which are executed by them in accordance with the established deadlines/procedure, also, in order to increase the efficiency and improve the activities of the audit facilities, practical and methodological assistance was provided.
Further work aimed at improving the internal processes of the state body, as well as the activities of the Department will be continued.
