In accordance with the List of objects of state audit of the Department for 2021, approved by the Order of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 28, 2020 № 789 (hereinafter – the List), audit activities are planned in 2021: in the Department of justice Kostanay region, Department of justice Pavlodar region, Institutes of Forensic examinations in Zhezkazgan, Kyzylorda, Almaty, West Kazakhstan regions and the RSE «National Institute of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan».
In 2021, the total amount of funds covered by audit activities amounted to 11,630,011,6 thousand tenge.
According to the results of the audit, violations totaling 216,762,1 thousand tenge were found. Of these, the amount to be restored is 15,437,2 thousand tenge and reimbursed 3,189,5 thousand tenge, of which 15,437,2 thousand tenge were restored and 1,389,7 thousand tenge or 90,3% were reimbursed.
Reports on the results of internal audit and decisions containing conclusions and recommendations on preventing and reducing the risks of violations in the areas of activity, public procurement and accounting and financial reporting, personnel records management and others were sent to the objects of audit for all completed audit activities.
According to the results of the evaluation of the effectiveness of the internal audit services for the 1st half of 2021, conducted by the authorized body for internal state audit, the activities of the Іnternal audit department were assessed as "effective".
Further work aimed at improving the internal processes of the state body, as well as the activities of the Department will be continued.
