This Review on the Protection of Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan (the “Review”) has been prepared by the Republic’s Ministry of Justice, in cooperation with relevant government agencies, national human rights organizations and non-governmental organizations.
This Review was prepared on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Human Rights Day, in order to inform the diplomatic missions of foreign States and international organizations about the reforms in the area of human rights undertaken by the Republic of Kazakhstan (“the Republic” or “Kazakhstan”) in recent years.
