The Department of intellectual property rights is a structural subdivision of the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter-the Department).
The Department in its activities is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laws, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other regulatory legal acts, as well as this Regulation.
The structure and staffing of the Department shall be approved by the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter-the Ministry) in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Department consists of:
1) copyright and related rights office;
2) industrial property management;
3) the Department for ensuring the activities of the Board of appeal, the Commission for the recognition of the trademark well-known, certification and appeal commissions.
