On Amendments and Additions to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses

On January 10, 2025, the Head of State signed the Law "On Amendments and Additions to the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses".

These amendments provide for the consideration by the authorized body in the sphere of state registration of civil status acts of cases on administrative offenses provided for in Article 491 of the Code, namely for violation of the rules for recording civil status acts.

Violation of the norms of the above article provides for a fine in the amount of five monthly calculation indices for concealing circumstances that prevent marriage, or providing false information to civil registration authorities.
