Within the framework of the memorandum of understanding and cooperation on the protection and protection of intellectual property between the Department of Justice of Kostanay region and the regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kostanay region "Atameken" and according to the indicator of the global competitiveness index of the World Economic Forum "Effectiveness of legislation in resolving disputed cases", the head of the interdistrict Department of Justice of the city of Arkalyk on February 2, 2022, an "Open Day" on the protection of intellectual property rights was held for residents of the city.

The purpose of the event is to clarify the issues: how is the protection of trademarks carried out, what consequences lead to the illegal use of trademarks, service marks and the name of the places of passage of goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the procedure for their registration.

And also during the event, legal consultations were given on the possibility of obtaining legal advice by citizens on a round-the-clock basis on the website of the IURC and by phone number 119.

The 2 citizens of the city who applied were given consultations and answers to questions about trademarks.
