On investments in fixed capital in the Abay region

The volume of investments in capital stock for 2023, amounted to 527.4 billion tenge, or 123.1% by 2022. In terms of the share in the republican volume of investments (3%), the region took the 15 th place.

In the structure of investments by sources of financing, the enterprises' own funds occupied 61%, the republican budget funds – 10%, the local budget – 12.6%, bank loans – 4.3%, other borrowed funds – 12.1%.

Of the total investments in mining and quarrying 19.1% were directed, in transport and warehousing – 17.2%, in real estate transactions – 13.3%, agriculture, forestry and fishing agriculture – 13.2%, to the manufacturing industry – 8%, in the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning – 5.6%, in water supply; saritation; waste collection, treatment and disposal, pollution elimination activities-4.6%, in public administration and defense; compulsory social security-4%, construction – 3.9%, education and healthcare –4.5%.

Investments in capital stock - investments in order for investors to obtain an economic, social or environmental effect in the case of new construction, reconstruction, expansion, as well as technical re-equipment and modernization of facilities that lead to an increase in the initial cost of the facility, as well as for the purchase of machinery, equipment, vehicles, for the formation of the main herd, perennial plantings.
