The statistical bulletin includes data submitted by all legal entities of all forms of ownership and departmental subordination, on which an accident or occupational disease is registered.
An accident at work is the impact of a production factor on an employee in the performance of his labor (official) duties or tasks of the employer, as a result of which an injury, sudden deterioration of health or poisoning of an employee occurred, which led to his temporary or permanent disability, occupational disease, or death.
The unit of measurement is the case of an occupational injury, i.e. data on one person injured in one accident at work.
The number of victims with disability and fatal outcome is taken into account in case of accidents that occurred on the territory of the enterprise during the performance of labor duties by the victim, as well as when traveling to or from work by transport provided by the enterprise.
Occupational disease is a chronic or acute disease caused by the impact of harmful production factors on an employee in connection with the performance of his labor (official) duties.
The material consequences of industrial accidents are determined by the amount of compensation for damage to the injured worker, which is calculated as a percentage of his earnings in accordance with the degree of his loss of professional capacity for work. Persons entitled to compensation in the event of the death of the breadwinner shall be compensated in the amount of the breadwinner's average monthly earnings, minus the share attributable to the breadwinner and able-bodied dependents who are not entitled to compensation for damages.
