Football is not only one of the most popular and beloved sports in Abay Province, it also has great social significance.

For the past six months, residents have been able to spend their free time outdoors with family, children, and friends, where they can release the emotions accumulated during the working week and experience new ones with the revived Elimai football club.

Although the home games take place on weekdays, the Spartak Stadium sets attendance records throughout Kazakhstan. More than 7,000 people regularly cheer on their favorite team, from young fans to veterans.

The main team of the Elimai Football Club, which consists of nine local players, has not suffered a single defeat in the national championship so far and is at the top of the table!

The reserve team consists of 25 players who all come from our region and will secure their place in the top division in the future.

The 2006 footballers will travel to Shymkent in September to play for 1^st to 4th place in the final round of the Kazakh championship, while the 2007 players have already won the silver medal at this tournament!

In addition, around 370 children are currently training at the club. They now have a place where they can strengthen their spirit and character and cultivate a healthy lifestyle.
