Akim of Abay region Nurlan Urankhayev discussed the construction of the third Thermal Power Center in Semey during an online meeting with Minister of energy Bolat Akchulakov and the management of Samruk-Energo JSC.
As a result, a decision was made to adjust the feasibility study in the project for the construction of CHPP-3.
At the meeting, issues of increasing electricity generation and providing additional electricity were touched upon. The issue of construction of the Shulbinskaya HPP Center in order to optimize electricity supply was also discussed.
