Nurlan Urankhayev visited Ayagoz district, the largest in the Abai region. Today, 70.9 thousand people live here

The head of the region began his working trip with a visit to the Museum of local lore, where the historical, natural and cultural development of the Ayagoz district is presented. The museum consists of four exhibition sections. The hall "Ayagoz – ulylar mekeni" introduces historical figures whose lives and activities are connected with the Ayagoz region.
The section "Zheniske kurmet" is dedicated to WWII veterans and participants of military operations in Afghanistan. The section "Ethnography" presents exhibits related to the life and national traditions of the Kazakh people, and in the hall "Tabigat" archaeological finds, flora and fauna of the Ayagoz district are demonstrated.
Nurlan Urankhayev also visited the park named after Abaya was born in the city of Ayagoz, after he got acquainted with the work of primary school No. 9. The building of the educational institution was built in 1930. Major repairs were carried out in 2017. During school hours, 350 students attend the school in one school shift.
The next point is the boxing hall of Ayagoz. The sports facility was built in 2011 at the expense of personal funds of Tuleutai Suleimenov, a native of the Ayagoz district. 60 students can study here at the same time in each shift. The gym has a boxing ring and a gym. Republican boxing tournaments are held here every year. Also, the head of the region Abai got acquainted with the recently commissioned social facilities. It is known that last year, at the expense of sponsorship funds, a student dormitory was built in Ayagoz.
