How stadiums function in the homeland of football. Akim of the region Abai Nurlan Urankhayev visited the Lokomotiv stadium in Semey, which was built in 1953.
The head of the region was told about the existing problems and wishes, about plans to build a gym and an indoor hockey court. Now there is a standard field, a building for weightlifting. In winter, there is a hockey court; on the field there is ice for mass skating.
Today, Nurlan Urankhayev got acquainted with the state of affairs at the Spartak stadium. This is the largest outdoor stadium in Semey, capable of accommodating 8,500 people in 16 sectors of the stands.
The stadium has a football field with a natural lawn, a running track is placed around it, there is a sector for throwing a shot, a pit for long jumps with a run. A spare football field with artificial turf has been built.
