Local entrepreneurs expressed their willingness to develop agriculture in the region.
One of the key tasks is to transform the agricultural sector of the region into an interregional food belt.
This was stated by Akim of the region Abai Nurlan Urankhayev during a meeting with local entrepreneurs.
He noted that it is important to use the geographical location of the region in the circle of large industrial regions - Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar and Karaganda.
At the same time, it is necessary to create conditions for farmers and open feedlots, a meat processing plant, etc. in the region.
At the same time, entrepreneurs declared their readiness to return the former glory of the center of the meat industry and animal husbandry to their hometown. Considering that in the 80s in Semipalatinsk, processing enterprises in the form of meat-canning plants, sausage shops and industries such as leather and wool processing received due development.
The revival of this historical economic potential in agriculture will allow us to introduce modern technologies and developments, open new farms, jobs and attract foreign investment. It is necessary to develop a roadmap for the development of the sector.
