Akim of the region Abai shared his plans for the future

Today, Akim of the region Nurlan Urankhayev inspected the city facilities and shared his upcoming plans with journalists. At the same time, the head of the region noted that rapid changes should not be expected, but over time, the lives of citizens will definitely change.
"There are a lot of questions accumulated. We will work together. No one should have any illusions that everything will change instantly. I want to say again that everything will not be solved quickly, but we will work as quickly as possible. I am waiting for feedback from our residents. We have opened pages in social networks, write all ideas and suggestions. There will definitely be feedback. We will definitely do everything we can. I can guarantee one thing - the life of the citizens will improve, you just need to wait a little. We've been waiting for a long time, there's still a little bit left. We will work together. I am in touch at any time," says Nurlan Urankhaev.
Akim considers the problem of heat supply to Semey to be one of the main ones.
"Today I toured the facilities. I thought things were sadder. Of course, there are problems, not to say that everything is completely bad, but there are problems that have been created for more than one year. This is a heat supply problem. Currently, work is underway in terms of heat supply, it will be continued, the budget is sufficient. Today, the issue of installing filters on boilers was raised at CHP-1. It will still be discussed with specialists. Before the start of the heating season, the issue with the work on the boiler houses of heat sources will be completed, I will take it under my control. Don't worry about it. The construction of a thermal power plant on the right bank has already begun in 2007. The money was allocated in the amount of 5 billion tenge, but the construction was stopped. I think that the construction of CHP-3 is our first priority. That is, we are not removing it from the agenda. Moreover, I believe that this is what our city needs. As for the central park, this is also solvable, it only takes a little time. There is a beautiful embankment in the city. Yes, there are overflowing bins. But if people stack garbage, it means they understand that this is their city, the environment disciplines. A lot of things have been done in the city, we will work. Urbanists came from the capital, they are already working in our city. We will try to change something," the governor of the region says.
At the same time, the head of the region is in no hurry to get ahead and promise large-scale changes in advance.
"I don't want to shout ahead of time about what we will do. I am also a resident of Semey, moreover, I am a native of this city, I know it inside and out. We will work. As for the location of the regional akimat, I believe that both akimats (both regional and city) should be on the right bank, since we have a problem "over bridges", it is not necessary to create additional traffic, I believe that both buildings should be on the right bank. We will try to stay locally close to each other. The management structure of the regional akimat should be registered and approved by the decision of the maslikhat. I think it will be a maximum within a month," the governor of the region assured.
Nurlan Urankhayev also noted that the appearance of the city will change in accordance with the design code.
"There is a law on architectural and construction activities, there is a design code that applies to all regional centers. The design code is the unwritten rules that every developer should know: what kind of sign should be, what color scheme and other attributes. All this will happen. For example, when you buy an apartment, you slowly force it with paintings and vases, so it becomes more beautiful over time. The same will happen with our city, believe me. We also have certain thoughts on historical buildings. We will try to preserve those buildings that have not yet gone under construction. If the citizens have suggestions and thoughts, we will definitely consider them. I do not promise that we will do everything, because proposals are sometimes fantastic and objectively impossible, but we will consider all proposals," says Nurlan Urankhaev.
He also noted that since his appointment to the post of akim of the region, investors have repeatedly approached him.
