Akim of the region Abai Nurlan Urankhayev visited a number of objects of Semey

The first point was the CHP. Nurlan Urankhayev asked the management of the facility about whether the allocated funds for the maintenance of the CHP are enough.
The governor of the region was told about the problems here: these are both technical and financial issues.
In particular, over the past years, the company has been in an unstable financial situation: a tariff deficit develops annually, which has a negative impact on the financial result of the enterprise, which leads to its unprofitable activities, as well as to an increase in accounts payable.
To prepare for the upcoming heating season, 3.806 billion tenge has been allocated for the reconstruction and maintenance of the CHP. Including the reconstruction of two boiler houses in the amount of 2,002 million tenge.
For 630.6 million tenge, current repairs will be carried out at 14 heat sources. At the expense of own funds provided for in the tariff, the purchase of equipment and materials for the current repair of heat sources and heating networks in the amount of 594.3 million tenge. It is expected that as a result of the repair work, the reliability of boiler houses will increase.

"At the moment, the turbine is standing, and so it is in reserve, ready to start. We can generate electricity for ourselves. The turbine is new, it has not been fully used," says Yerzhan Kabiyev, the head of the boiler house.
The akim of the region promised to take the existing issues under control and instructed to conduct high-quality preparation for the upcoming heating season.
