About the approval of the rates of the tourist fee for

foreigners or individuals or legal entities paying for the residence of a foreigner (the inviting party, the tour operator) in the Urdzhar district

 

In accordance with paragraph 2-10 of Article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Local Public Administration and Self-Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan", and the order of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 14, 2023 No. 181 "On approval of the Rules for paying the tourist fee for foreigners", Urdzhar district Maslikhat decided:

1. Approve the tourist fee for foreigners or individuals or legal entities paying for the foreigner's accommodation (the inviting party, the tour operator) in tourist accommodation, with the exception of hostels, guest houses, rental housing in the districts for each day of stay in tourist accommodation – in the amount of a fixed rate of 0.2 monthly calculation index.

With an increase in the number of foreign tourists in accommodation compared to the same period last year, apply the following tourist fee rates:

up to five percent – in the amount of 0.2 MCI;

from five to ten percent – in the amount of 0.3 MCI;

from ten to fifteen percent – in the amount of 0.4 MCI;

from fifteen percent and above – in the amount of 0.5 MCI.

2. This decision shall enter into force upon the expiration of ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication.
