"Modernity and the revival of traditions»

Employees of the Central Library System of Semey with the support of the Department of Culture and Language Development of Semey on the YouTube channel within the framework of the Program "Rukhani zhangyru" for the implementation of the special project "Dastur men guryp" published a video interview "Modernity and the revival of traditions".
Purpose: to form an idea of the culture, traditions, and customs of the Kazakh people, to preserve and strengthen national values.
The traditions and customs of the Kazakh people created over several centuries harmoniously intertwine with each other, covering the most different moments of the life of the Kazakhs, form the strong thread through which the connection and continuity of generations is established.
The interview highlighted the main cultural values of the Kazakhs: respect for elders, peacefulness and tolerance,openness to communication, hospitality and the desire to live in harmony with the surrounding world. The participants learned about the revival of Kazakh traditions and customs that celebrate the national spirit, have a high educational and moral value. They also enriched their understanding of everyday life, traditions and culture, the diversity of folk art and the originality of art that make up the culture of Kazakhstan.
The guest of the event-artist, sculptor, master Aimukhanbetov Kurman Abayevich gave an interview and acquainted the audience with his works.
The event resulted in the analysis and actualization of the spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people.
