The Republican state Enterprise "Kazhydromet" of the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources (hereinafter "Kazhydromet") has developed and launched a web application for the farmer "AgroData" in order to improve the availability of specialized information in crop production.
This application contains the most popular factual and predictive information in crop production and allows you to get the necessary information for free from any electronic devices.
The specialized application for farmers "AgroData" is available in the state and Russian languages at the link https://agrodata.kz / and can be published on any resources of the Ministry of Agriculture and other sites in order to provide information to farmers and other interested users.
The site can function in two access modes:
public – for all users (all information is provided free of charge)
for registered users (allows you to enter into contracts in an online format, receive specialized services and pay for them online). Upon registration, it becomes possible to conclude contracts for the provision of services, manage contracts and funds on the account, access information according to the concluded contract (actual information, forecasts, recommendations, NDVI by fields).
The application publishes the actual weather for the points of the state observation network updated every 3 hours, a numerical weather forecast for 6 days broken down by 3 hours, a forecast for 2-3 days and a week, a forecast for a month and a link to the seasonal weather forecast.
Agrometeorological forecasts are presented in the form of a farmer's calendar, in which the most important forecast dates are marked (the date of the onset of the soft-plastic state of the soil, the optimal timing of sowing of grain crops, the date of the onset of wax ripeness of grain, the optimal timing of harvesting). The forecast of productive moisture reserves in the soil, the forecast of drought and grain yields are presented in the form of maps with a legend.
In the Actual data section, sums of active temperatures, sums of effective temperatures, reserves of productive moisture in the soil in a layer of 0-20 cm, and in a layer of 0-100 cm are available. in tabular form throughout the growing season, the NDVI map for the entire territory of Kazakhstan is based on MODIS TERRA/Aqua satellite images with updates from 2 to 4 times a month (according to the availability of images). During the growing season, NDVI gives an assessment of the general state of crop development, characterizing the state of agricultural crops, and during the cold period, the distribution of snow cover over the territory of Kazakhstan is provided using the same satellite images.
Currently, with the help of the "AgroData" application, all information is provided to the population free of charge, paid service under the contract is not carried out.
