How much to pay for OSMS in 2021?
If a citizen of Kazakhstan is not insured, it is necessary to determine the amount of the monthly payment on the OSMS, based on the following categories:
- 15 preferential categories of citizens-contributions are paid by the state
- Employee-payment is made by the employer's accounting department in the amount of 2% of the object of calculation of contributions (for comparison, in 2020 – 1%) and 2% of the wage fund.
- Sole proprietors, owners of KH, persons engaged in private practice – 5% of 1.4 MZP (MZP in 2021 is 42,500 tenge, as in 2020, so the amount of payment remains the same – 2975 tenge in 2021).
- Self-employed (persons, providing services without employees, and sole proprietorship)/ payers of ESP – 1 MCI (2917 tenge for 01.01.2021 g) for cities of Republican and regional value, for other settlements – 0,5 MCI (1458,5 tenge for 01.01.2021 g).
- An independent payer – 5% from 1 MW (2125 KZT in 2021, since the size of the minimum wage has not changed).
- Individuals working under the GPH contract – 2% of income (in 2020, 1% was withheld), while the maximum possible payment is 8,500 tenge (that is, 2% of 10 MZP, 425,000 x 2% = 8,500).
