The State Institution "Department of Agriculture, Land Relations, and Entrepreneurship of the City of Kurchatov, Abay Region" (hereinafter referred to as the Department) implements state policy in the areas of agriculture, land relations, and the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the city of Kurchatov.
There are one peasant farm and two farms operating in the city. The main problematic issue in Kurchatov's agriculture is the lack of agricultural land. However, despite this, there has been a slight increase in agricultural production. According to the results of the 12 months of 2025, the following was produced:
151.2 tons of meat (an increase of 1.4% compared to the same period last year);
571.3 tons of milk (an increase of 8.2% compared to the same period last year);
78,100 eggs.
Gross agricultural output amounted to 1,025.6 million tenge, IFV - 115.9%, of which: GDP of crop production was 578.8 million tenge (IFV - 129.9%), GDP of livestock production was 446.5 million tenge (IFV - 101.2%).
