Social Assistance.
In 2025, state targeted social assistance (SASA) covered 21 families with 88 members, 60 of whom were children under 18. Six of these families were large families, 37 of whom were children.
The accrued and paid SASA amounted to 7,861,900 tenge.
Since the beginning of the year, the special commission coordinating the registration and accounting of citizens affected by nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test site has held 28 meetings, reviewing 33 sets of documents (one for payment and 32 for the issuance of duplicate test site certificates).
As of January 1, 2026, 508 people received social benefits totaling 43,544,900 tenge, including 475 people receiving 38,480,000 tenge in connection with memorable and holiday dates and 1,875,500 tenge based on applications from the local budget. Six families, each with 14 members, applied for housing assistance. The accrual and payment of housing assistance totaled 168,800 tenge.
