In order to improve the quality of city improvement, the following was carried out:
As part of the implementation of the republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan", as well as in order to improve the level of sanitary conditions, improvement, landscaping of the urban area and create favorable conditions for comfortable living of the population, the Akimat of the city of Kurchatov adopted Resolution No. 45/1 of March 26, 2025 "On the implementation of measures for sanitary cleaning and improvement of the territory of the city of Kurchatov in 2025".
In accordance with this resolution, from April 5 to June 7, 2025, a two-month set of measures for sanitary cleaning, improvement and landscaping in the format of clean-up days was carried out on the territory of the city.
During the entire period of the two-month clean-up day, more than 6,000 people took part, special. equipment of enterprises and organizations of the city, 299 tons of garbage were collected and removed, sanitary cleaning of all public places of visit of the city was carried out, 6 fountains were cleaned, 831 information materials were published in the media and social networks.
In the settlements of Moldary and Degelen station, raids were carried out on unauthorized dumps in order to identify and prevent violations of environmental legislation, bring the perpetrators to justice and prevent damage to the environment. Following the raid, residents of the indicated areas were given notices to eliminate the identified violations.
