The procedure for organizing and holding meetings, rallies, processions, pickets and demonstrations in the Republic of Kazakhstan is regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 17, 1995 No.2126 “On the procedure for organizing and holding peaceful meetings, rallies, processions, pickets and demonstrations in the Republic of Kazakhstan” (hereinafter-the Law).
An application to hold a meeting, rally, march, picket or demonstration, no later than 10 days before the scheduled date of their holding, must be submitted to the administration of cities and districts of the East Kazakhstan region in written form the place of the meeting.
